How do I add a screenshot?
Click the + button in the tab strip at the top to create a new tab, then drag and drop your screenshot onto the canvas — or click the canvas placeholder to open a file picker.
Which iPhone models are supported?
Preview Lab includes device frames for iPhone 15, iPhone 16, and iPhone 17 series (standard, Pro, Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air). New models are added with app updates.
How do I change the background?
In the controls panel on the right, select a Background style: solid color, gradient, or custom image. Use the color pickers or sliders to fine-tune it.
How do I add a caption or title?
Toggle the Text section in the controls panel. Type your text, then adjust font, size, color, and position to match your design.
How do I export my screenshot?
Click the Export button in the toolbar. Preview Lab saves a PNG file at the App Store-required resolution for the selected device.
What is included in Preview Lab Pro?
The free version lets you export one screenshot. Preview Lab Pro unlocks unlimited exports. You can subscribe monthly or annually from within the app.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open System Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your Mac, find Preview Lab, and tap Cancel Subscription. You keep access until the end of the current billing period.
